Auction Description

Nantucket Summer Antiques Show by Antiques Council
This auction has 32 nationally and internationally know art and antiques dealers who participate annually in the Nantucket Summer Antiques Show. This year's show is virtual but they will be showing an incredible range of merchandise on the antiques show website and each has provided one item for this auction. A beneficiary of the auction is the Nantucket Historical Association as it has been for years. Those who're participating are dealers like A La Vielle Russie, Ralph Chait Galleries, Rehs Gallery and S&J Shrubsole from New York who.are joined by Lotus Galleries, Finnegan Galleries, Charles Edwin Puckett, Gary Sargent from the USA. Also joining the auction are William Cook, David Brooker, Dinan & Chigine, Jesse Davis from the UK and Silver Art by D&R from France. SHIPMENT OF ALL ITEMS IS AT THE EXPENSE OF THE PURCHASER Shipping: To pick up your item from the consignor (by appointment only) or to obtain a packing and shipping quote for any lot, please email antiquescouncil@gmail.com or call 330 606 8226, with the following information: “Nantucket Summer Antiques Show Auction”, the lot number you are inquiring on, and the destination zip code along with your contact information. The Antiques Council will provide that information to the consignor to contact you to arrange shipping or delivery. Items not picked up or shipped within 30 days will be returned to the consignor. All bids are considered final and nonrefundable.  Payments for winning items should be made within 10 days within auction end. Accepted payments methods are PayPal, or credit card. Successful bidders are required by law to pay Connecticut 6.35% sales tax if purchasing within Connecticut. In addition, there is a 12% Buyers premium on all winning items. The Nantucket Summer Antiques Show will be contributing the Buyer’s Premium to the Nantucket Historical Association to benefit its programs. All lots are sold “as is.” The Antiques Council and the Nantucket Summer Antiques Show make no statements, warranties, or representations as to the accuracy of any auction item's description, genuineness, provenance, or condition. The Antiques Council reserves the right to withdraw any item offered for bid, at any time. The Antiques Council will not be responsible for any loss or damage to auction items.
