Our process starts by hand drawing and painting designs and creating textiles that will become a work of wearable fiber art. We are constantly inspired by bringing together our love of vintage textiles with our passion for Abstract Painting. Our current work references the brush stroke and mark as pattern.
We steam block, wash, shape, knit and sew our textiles. The highest intrinsic qualities of our materials are essential and we have spent years sourcing the finest fiber that allows us to create pieces that not only have a great hand but are machine washable. With a commitment to sustainability we use organic Egyptian cotton yarn, Italian Viscose yarn made from trees, and bamboo and tencel, a recycled fiber that minimizes our carbon footprint. Our intention is to create zero waste, unique and timeless wearable art with a great hand and historical references for a contemporary expression of personal style.
With our experience and understanding of dressing women, we search for and create a flow and movement to compliment our varied shapes and sizes.
Your Sharon London pieces will be a favorite in your wardrobe.
