Auction Description

The Personal Collection of Georgia and Jack Olsen, Session I by Soulis Auctions
Georgia and her husband Jack founded Kansas City's American Legacy Gallery in 1979 where they established themselves as a Midwest leader in the curation of fine American Prints and Paintings. Through four decades they represented many living artists as well as the estates of historical artists like Birger Sandzen. With their insistence on quality and condition, along with their penchant for integrity and mentorship, they quietly became a regional institution with clients following them from around the United States. With Jack's passing, we will offer their personal collection from the walls of their home - every wall, floor to ceiling - through a series of single-owner auctions. This first session will be followed by a second session in late May of 2021 and additional sessions beyond that. Read more
