Art creates community. That’s our mantra at the Santa Paula Art Museum. We believe that art strengthens our community by providing opportunities for self-expression, connection, learning, and joy. Occupying two beautifully renovated, historic buildings in the heart of downtown Santa Paula, California, the Santa Paula Art Museum features rotating exhibitions of vintage and contemporary art, free tours and hands-on art lessons for local schools, art classes for children and adults, monthly Free Family Days, creative community events, and much more.
The Museum’s annual Fine Art Auction is its biggest fundraiser each year. The auction artworks have been generously donated by popular local artists, as well as private collectors. This year's Fine Art Auction features 21 original works of art, all vetted by the Museum's curatorial committee. Bidding opens August 16, 2021. The auction will close one item every minute starting at 4:00 p.m. PDT on Sunday, August 29, 2021. All proceeds will benefit the Santa Paula Art Museum and the thousands of children, families, and adults that the Museum serves every year. The Santa Paula Art Museum is a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization as described in section 501(c)3 of the IRS Code. The Museum's tax identification number is 92-0179722. Read more
