Auction Description

TavernTrove Auction III by TavernTrove
The 507 lots in this auction represent items from four recent collection acquisitions. From Florida, we have an 800-item tray collection of which about two dozen common to intermediate examples are available for bidding, and from Colorado, we have more than 100 items from a high-quality, straight-sided pull tab can collection. Also, we offer here a number of flat tops and cone tops from the collections of Mark Smith, Dan Scoglietti, Bob Hilderbrandt, Jim Friesen, and Dave Stark. The most 'important" item up for sale here is the prized 1st BCCA Convention (now known as Canvention) can from member number 10, Vaughan Amstutz of Lafayette, Indiana. His name is mentioned on the can as a founding member of the BCCA Board of Directors. As this is our second auction with Bidsquare, we are still just offering items in the beginner-to-intermediate collecting levels (for the most part). Future auctions will have increasingly rarer items, the exotic, and, soon, a few previously unknown pieces. Read more
