Tony Evans (1942-2009) Raku Pottery vase. Signed on base 'Evans Raku 154'
Tony Evans was a renowned Welsh-Born ceramicist and engineer known for his innovative Raku pottery design and geological glazing. He worked out of Healdsburg (Norther California) and pioneered new firing methods that replicated natural textures mimicking deserts and man mad artifacts.
Dimensions: 10" x 9.5" x 7.5"
This lot may be picked up free of charge from our facilities in Sacramento, CA. Processing and shipping within the Continental US $60. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing.
