• Lot Description
  Ivory and Rust, Silk, Scatter Size 1980 Signed
  
  This is a spectacular example of a signed silk Turkish Hereke with around 800 knots per square inch. The design is an all-over floral motif on a ivory field. The pile is silk and the warp and weft are also silk.
  
  The rug is 3-4 x 4-8 from circa 1980. It is signed 'Hereke' at one end.
