Near East, Iran (Persia), Kashan region, ca. 12th to 14th century CE. A stunning fritware bowl resting on a flared foot, featuring a deep hemispherical basin. The surface is adorned with intricate arabesque motifs in cobalt blue, turquoise, black, and white, arranged in alternating bands that radiate from the center. These vibrant pigments were applied using an underglaze technique and permanently fused to the ceramic surface through multiple firings. Size: 7.75" Diameter x 4.125" H (19.7 cm x 10.5 cm)
