A flat fee of $25 will be charged to cover the cost of shipping and insurance.
After the sale and upon receipt and clearing of payment in full, Artist will ship artwork to the Buyer at the address provided by the Buyer on payment, unless otherwise contacted and requested by the Buyer. The Artist ships and insures with USPS, UPS, or FedEx, unless a specific method of shipping is requested by Buyer, and insures the first $1000 through the mail service, and the remainder through their own private insurance. The Buyer shall be responsible for $25 of shipping and any requested additional insurance charges. No refunds will be given for any reason.

Within seven (7) days of Artist’s receipt of payment from the purchaser, the Artist will ship the object(s) purchased. Sold objects will be shipped directly from the Artist to the purchaser. Shipping arrangements and charges will be determined by Artist and the purchaser and will not be the responsibility of the Smithsonian (including the Committee). The Smithsonian (including the Committee) shall not be responsible to Artist or the purchaser for any loss or damage to the Object incurred in transit or otherwise.
