A finely detailed blue and white porcelain covered vase, of baluster form on a square footed base. The body is adorned with intricate floral and scrollwork decoration in cobalt blue and gilt tones against a cream ground, with two large central reserves painted in chinoiserie-style scenes of waterside figures and architecture. The pierced shoulder is encircled with applied floral garland detailing, and the domed lid is topped with a gilt pinecone finial. Marked with an original metallic foil paper label and hand-numbered underside.
