• Lot Description
  Likely Deruta or similar, 20th century, Whimsical ceramic wall masks in the style of Bacchic or theatrical grotesques, each finely modeled and glazed:<br> A cheerful white-glazed child’s face adorned with grapes and vine leaves, marked "La Cava Firenze", 6"H x 7"W. <br> A colorful fruit-and-pinecone headdress framing a smiling cherubic face, marked "Vietri" 4-3/4"H x 6"W. <br> A large bearded mask of Bacchus or Silvanus, with vividly glazed grapes and foliage, 12-1/2"H x 11"W. <br> Italian majolica wall mask depicting a cherubic face with open mouth and eye holes, surrounded by yellow and green stylized hair adorned with daisy-like flowers, 5-1/4"H x 6-3/8"W.

  Condition

  Each with rear openings for wall mounting. All in good condition with minor glaze crazing or small firing flaws typical of hand-decorated ceramics.
