• Lot Description
  An exquisite left/right oriented pair, comprising a full figure putto whose lower body mergers into a leaf covered vine, which coils around itself in the center, and simply curls up at the ends of the two flanks of each figure. A floral garland extends from the right hand of the left side putto, crossing over the vine shaped body extension of the putto. A torch in the left hand symbolizing knowledge. An arrow is slung over the back, representing a pursuit of goals. The right side putto has the same features, with a quiver on it's back representing preparedness and the potential for action. In the left hand, the original object in missing. In front of the fireplace, or flanking a vase of flowers on you hall table, their use is only limited to the buyer's imagination.
