• Lot Description
  A matched pair of Japanese Imari-style porcelain vases, each of baluster form with flared necks and decorated in a vibrant palette of iron red, cobalt blue, and gilt on a white ground. Each vase features shaped cartouches with blossoming prunus trees in landscape, framed by intricate foliate and geometric patterns throughout. Richly enameled and gilded in traditional Imari fashion. Marked to the underside.

  Good overall, chip with old repair to one vase rim.
