• Lot Description
  19th century Davenport desk in warm-toned walnut, featuring a hinged sloped writing surface with inset green leather writing panel that lifts to reveal a spacious compartment with small interior drawers. The right side houses a bank of four graduated drawers below a small hinged drawer with round brass pulls and escutcheons, while the opposing side displays faux drawers. The desk stands on elaborately carved cabriole supports with scroll feet and recessed casters. Marquetry trim throughout.

  Condition

  Large age crack to the underside, other scuffs and distress cracks, commensurate with age and use. Good antique condition.
