Lot of three Colt cutaway pistols, made by an Army armorer for demonstration purposes. Includes one cutaway Colt 1911 semi-automatic pistol (.45 caliber, 5" barrel, S/N 694735). The pistol is mostly unmarked, with cutaway segments on the right side of the barrel, slide, frame and grips. The backstrap and magazine also have cutaway segments. With walnut grips. The pistol has been re-blued. Also includes a cutaway Colt model 1903 .32 pocket semi-automatic pistol (.32 auto caliber, 3.75" barrel, S/N 284953). Left of slide marked with 1897 and 1903 patent dates. The right side is marked with Colt and Calibre markings. The right side of the barrel, frame, slide, grips and magazine have cutout segments. With hard rubber grips marked Colt over the rampant colt logo. Magazine with safety marked Cal .32 Colt. The pistol has been re-blued. Also includes a Colt model 1908 Hammerless .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol (.25 caliber, 2" barrel, S/N 50619 ). The left of the slide is marked with 1896, 1897, 1903 and 1910 patent dates. The right side is marked with Colt and calibre markings. The right side of the barrel, slide, frame, grip and magazine all have cutaway segments. The magazine with safety latch is marked Cal. 25 Colt . Hard rubber grips with Colt markings and rampant colt motif. The pistol has been re-blued.
