Estimate $ 700-900
Popular in the 1970s, the Fender Rhodes is a unique electric piano in that sound is generated using keys and hammers in a similar layout to an acoustic piano.
The set was purchased by Mr. Guercio for the studio at its inception and was there until the last recording before the tragic fire that closed the studio in 1985. Often used for blending sound, this Fender Rhodes can be heard on Chicago's hit single "Just You and Me" as well as "Brand New Love Affair," several Earth, Wind & Fire number one singles, such as "Shining Star" and "That's the Way of the World." It can also be heard on Glenn Frey's single "Sexy Girl" and Sheena Easton's "Wind Beneath My Wings."
