the baluster body inlaid with wisteria lanes, birds and butterflies, the waisted neck with gilt stylized bird motif, applied with a pair of rectangular upright handles decorated with cell patterns, the circular cover decorated with alternating dragon, phoenix and floral medallions against a foliate ground, surmounted by a finial in the form of a seated chimera, the underside bearing a two-character gilt maker's mark.
