the pear shaped body of oval section raised on a splayed foot with two horizontal bow-strings, each side cast with a band enclosing two confronting dragons with their head turning backward and a small taotie mask in the center, the shoulder with a pair of animal-mask handles suspending the arched handle, the domed cover decorated with a band of taotie mask, having two projecting tabs on each end, the interior of the vessel and the cover cast with Jinwen inscription.
