* An Important Victorian Silver, Gold, Agate Cameo and Diamond Pendant/Brooch, Tiffany & Co., Circa 1890, consisting of a central carved agate cameo depicting a seated cupid holding his bow and arrows locked behind a gold bar latticework within a brick motif carved onyx border, the openwork surround containing numerous rose and old mine cut diamonds in a cable chain link design, the diamond set open wirework base in a key and foliate motif, hinged hidden bail allows wear as pendant, the brooch measuring approximately 63.00 x 41.00 mm. Stamp: (maker's mark depicting superimposed TCO for Tiffany & Co.) (scratch marks 5126 ptXX). Cameo: (scratch marks Cld.Zdg Ea).

The brooch is fully intact, all diamonds present, diamonds show no appreciable wear at 10X magnification, metalwork of stone settings shows no signs of past repaired damage, minor wear (scratches, slight discoloration) to the stone settings visible at 10X magnification, pin stem may have been replaced, minor solder on the clasp side suggests possible replacement of earlier C-clasp, cameo shows no obvious wear to the naked eye with scattered scratches visible at 10X magnification.
