Antique coopered wooden firkin or sugar bucket featuring an olive-green painted surface with black bands and hand-painted yellow scrolling decoration. The fitted circular lid is embellished with a central stylized floral motif and decorative border, while the bucket retains its wooden swing handle and natural unfinished interior. Displays extensive age-related wear, including paint loss, scratches, staining, surface marks, separations and cracking to the wood, contributing to its authentic country primitive character. Approx. dimensions (in): 14.5 x 14.75 x 14.75.
