- Lot Description
Offering a decorative pair of Chinese famille verte porcelain ginger jars, including a larger crackle-glazed jar with lid and carved wooden stand, decorated with colorful warrior and equestrian figures, banners, foliage, and patterned borders in green, red, yellow, and blue enamels. The smaller companion jar features figural court or garden scenes with floral and landscape accents and a fitted lid. The larger jar displays an overall intentional crackle glaze surface with age-related staining, wear, and kiln/handling imperfections; underside images show surface wear, residue, and visible cracking/repair to the base area. The smaller jar appears smoother glazed with some scattered wear, minor losses, and surface marks. A visually appealing decorative grouping with strong color and traditional Chinese figural motifs, suitable for display or collection. Approx. biggest piece dimensions (in): 7.75 x 6.5 x 6.5.
