• Lot Description
  C1860, our Victorian Sterling silver hand brooch with strawberry leaves & fruits is a perfect example of Victorian Romanticism that existed during this period. The brooch is 2 inches long with delicate and finely detailed carving. Notice the modest Victorian cuff and the delicate fingernails, the beautifully molded fingers and the detailed veining of the strawberry leaf. Victorians loved hands and they carved them out of all manner of materials. The hinge, pin and catch are set on the underside and are sturdy. A wonderful hand brooch for the discerning hand collector.
