Charles Schulz "Charlie Brown and Lucy Classic Football" Hand Signed Color Model/Publicity Cels. Animazing Gallery COA, Peanuts - Charlie Brown and Lucy Color Model/Publicity Cels (United Media, c. the 1980s).
Here are a pair of one-of-a-kind color model/publicity cels depicting Charlie Brown and Lucy in the classic football scene.
The first time Lucy pulled this trick on poor ol' Charlie Brown was in the second Peanuts special and in countless comic strips after that. These fantastic cels feature nice large hand-inked and hand-painted images of the two friends. The cels are paired with background copy/prints for presentation purposes.
It's believed that these cels were created as possible options for Limited Edition releases.
The cels are in one frame of 33" x 17" with a double aperture matboard.
Openings measure 12" x 9". Cels are in Fine condition.
