- Lot Description
A large Lladro glazed porcelain sculpture titled "Clown with Ball" (alternatively known as "Reclining Clown"), model number 4618. This whimsical Clown Lladro sculpture was originally designed by artist Salvador Furio and features a reclining clown in a pensive pose, propping his chin on a gloved hand with his feet kicked up, resting one oversized shoe on a blue and white patterned ball. The figure is decorated in classic Lladro pastel tones, including a cream-colored coat, grey trousers, and a lavender hat. The underside bears the blue Lladro factory backstamp with the bellflower logo, "HAND MADE IN SPAIN," and the copyright "(c) DAISA 1991," alongside incised production marks including "A-15 J." This model was officially retired by the factory in 2019. Length: 15 inches.
