This framed monochrome print is a reproduction of a self-portrait by the Rastafarian artist Ras Daniel Heartman, originally dated 1967. The work is executed in a detailed realist style, depicting the artist with a beard and mustache, wearing a geometric-patterned knit beanie and a collared, zippered garment. The lower right corner bears in the plate the inscription Ras Daniel Heartman, SELF-PORTRAIT, 67. The print is housed behind glass in a polished, reddish-brown wooden frame featuring a gold-tone inner fillet and a white mat.
