BID ON THE-SALEROOM.COM
An open face pocket watch by J.G Graves. Silver case, hallmarked Birmingham 1898. Signed key wind going barrel movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 52mm. Together with a silver curb link Albert chain with coin fob.
Movement is not currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Debris is present to the surface and cracks are visible running from five and seven to the edge of the subsidiary seconds dial. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishingGlass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches. Glass is loose and does not stay in place. Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Pendant bow is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks. Chain approximately 42cm. This lot does not come with box or papers.
