You may also opt out of sharing your email address in the My Bidsquare section of your account, but doing so may prevent the auction house or dealer through which you are attempting to purchase an item from being processed.
We may also share some or all Personal Data with Bidsquare member auction houses or dealers so that the applicable auction house or dealer has the ability to identify the bidder. If you do not want us to share your Personal Data with member auction houses or dealers, you should not bid on or purchase any items through www.bidsquare.com.
We may also collect information on how the Service is accessed and used (“Usage Data”). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Security of Information
The security of your data is very important to us. We transfer your Personal Data securely, using industry-compliant encryption technology. When you enter sensitive information through www.bidsquare.com, we encrypt the transmission of that information using industry standard secure socket layer technology (SSL). When you enter credit card information, we transfer that information through SSL technology to a fully compliant PCI (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) third party, Stripe. We do not have the ability to see or store your credit card numbers. Except for credit card information, all customer information is stored on Bidsquare’s servers, which are maintained and operated by us or by a trusted third-party hosting company. Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Bidsquare may process your Personal Data because:
we need to perform a contract with you;
you have given us permission to do so;
the processing is in our legitimate interests, and it is not overridden by your rights;
for payment processing purposes; and/or
for payment processing purposes; and/or
Retention of Data
Bidsquare will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer periods.
