  Allart van Everdingen (1621 Alkmaar - 1675 Amsterdam): Woodland with village, c. 1640, Etching

  Technique: Etching on Paper

  Stamp: Collector's stamp, Lugt no.: 1237. Christian Hammer (1818-1905). Stockholm. 19th century

  Date: c. 1640

  Size: Paper: 10,7 cm x 15,0 cm (4,2 x 5,9 in), Depiction: 9,3 cm x 14,1 cm (3,7 x 5,6 in)

  Description: On the reverse is the collection stamp "R.S." (Lugt number L.2239b). Beautiful forest scene in the sunshine. A walker in a long dress animates the forest path, with large stones on both sides. Further back on the path two hunters have stopped and are looking into the landscape. In the background, the houses of a village with a high church tower stand out.

  Good condition. Foxing throughout. Mounted on old paper. Trimmed close to or on the platemark, minimal creases in the right area.

    The Seller will arrange shipment, at Client's expense. We offer in-house packing and shipping, and you do not need to arrange for shipping yourself. We ship using DHL or Deutsche Post, but upon client's request we can use DHL Express and FedEx as well. In this case, please contact us in order to determine the shipping costs.

      Shipping within Germany is free of charge!

    -Shipping fees within EU countries via DHL:
      For shipping inside the EU (except Germany as a shipping destination) we charge a flat amount of 22 Euro (includes VAT, but is not shown on the invoice) for each item. In case purchases by one Client can be combined in one package, we will gladly do so and charge the shipping fee only once. 

    -Shipping fees for non-EU countries via DHL:
      For shipping outside the EU, we charge a flat amount of 55 Euro for each item. In case purchases by one Client can be combined in one package, we will gladly do so and charge the shipping fee only once. 
      If the total of your purchases including buyer's premium exceeds 1,000 EUR, we recommend shipping your purchases by DHL Express. We will be happy to calculate the shipping costs according to your shipping location.
      For objects sized up to 30 x 20 x 5 cm (object size, including frame if applicable) and with a hammer price below 60 Euro, there is also a possibility to ship your purchase for 17 Euro with Deutsche Post Warenpost International. Kindly note that the delivery time for this service may be substantially longer than that for DHL parcel post.

    For objects sized over 100 x 50 x 50 cm, please contact us in advance to calculate the shipping costs according to your shipping location. 

    -Dispatch route
    All your purchases are sent with DHL business customer mail (except small items outside the EU (see above) who are shipped with Deutsche Post Warenpost International). If a parcel requires a different transport service due to unusual size, we will coordinate this with you beforehand. 

    -Shipping processing and duration
    Once we receive your payment, we will process and ship your purchase within one business day. Delivery then usually takes another 1 to 3 working days within Germany. For deliveries within the EU, please calculate 5 to 8 working days. Delivery outside the EU can take 10 to 20 working days. 
    In the case of payment in advance, the period for delivery shall commence on the day after the payment order is issued to the remitting bank or, in the case of other forms of payment, on the day after the conclusion of the contract and shall end with the expiry of the last day of the period. If the last day of the period falls on a Saturday, Sunday or a general holiday recognized by the state at the place of delivery, the next working day shall take the place of such day.

    EU    Delivery time (from dispatch): 5 to 8 working days
    Switzerland    Delivery time (from dispatch): 5 to 8 working days
    Non-EU    Delivery time (from dispatch): 10 to 20 working days.
