Technique: Watercolor on Paper
Inscription: Signed and dated by the artist at lower left: "G.Breitwieser 29", inscribed on the right: "Mühltal b. Darmstadt". Inscribed in pen on the reverse: "Sophien mit viel Dank zurück".

Description: Beautiful landscape painting with a lonely chapel in front of the rolling hills of the front Odenwald. Along the roadside, bushes and small trees are depicted in bright shades of green. The Darmstadt artist created a veduta of his home landscape with great dedication.
