Description: Inscribed "Gerard de Jode 1570 - 1634" on the verso and on the sheet support. This information is unclear, since Gerard de Jode lived from ca. 1511 - 1591 and Pieter de Jode the Elder lived from 1570 - 1634. Judging by the style and age of the print, it should be Pieter de Jode. Inscribed "Magnanimitas 4" at the bottom of the image. With 2 collector's stamps: "Dr. R.K." in a circle (collection Dr. Rainer Kaps (b. 1945), son Erhard Kaps, L. 4641); initial "I" with owl (collection Ines Kaps, Leipzig, L3551).
