Description: The print shows a man in antique garb who has turned towards a dog and is stroking its head with his right hand. In his left hand he holds a bowl. The print is part of the series "Opera Selectiora" etched by Valentin Levebvre. It is a 53-part print series based on paintings by Titian and Veronese. Jacob Van Campen first published the series in 1682.
