* A Chinese Embroidered Silk Dragon Robe,
depicting nine five-claw dragons embroidered in gilt-wrapped threads, a forward-facing dragon on each side of the robe above dragons in profile, centered by a basket and two peaches, with beribboned Buddhist, Daoist and auspicious emblems throughout including drums and drumsticks, double gourds, swords, ruyi scepters, fans, flutes and others amongst ruyi clouds, flames and bats bearing peaches and wan symbols, above mountain peaks and swirling waves tossing dharma wheels, wan symbols, canopies, above the lishui stripe, all on a blue silk ground, having a collar of similar design, with black ribbed sleeves terminating in horsehoof cuffs with deep purple thread accents and a gilt-wrapped thread border.

In overall good condition. The collar frayed and starting to separate. The robe with areas of light staining and discoloration, and with scattered pulled threads. The loops for buttons reinforced at one point, as the interior has later black thread stitches. The loops with much fraying and wear. The lishui stripe portion with discoloration. The sleeves and cuffs in very good condition and likely later. The lining with light staining but all intact. Retains the correct number of buttons.
