Completely illustrated with woodcuts depicting Ottoman, Greek, and Roman warriors, as well as a figure of the Campo Romano (a folding Roman camp design). Attached is a report by M. that provides details about the Turkish troops' customs and militia. Sansovino, Francesco. 57 text engravings altogether, plus two folding ones (the table and the camp layout), a folding woodcut plan, forty-three full-page woodcut drawings in part one, and fourteen half-page woodcuts of Turkish soldiers after Nicolay in part two. Complete limp vellum. In good shape, with a few fading dampstains on a few pages.
