Dietzelius and C. ab Heyden were the successors of the publisher Riehel of Strassburg, who had published an edition of the Ilias and Odyssey in 1572. The boards measure 4 1/2 by 6 1/2". The pages between p. 384 and p. 400 have been replaced in manuscript (ink in old hand, in Greek language); there are no two pages of an index; the book is partially browned; the spine is damaged: rare edition; only one copy has been found (in the Herzog August Bibliothek at Wolfenbuttel).
