- Lot Description
Claude Monet (French, 1840-1926) After/Manner of: Nymphias , Oil on an antique canvas, signed Claude Monet and dated 1905 on the lower right corner, framed. There is an identification label on the back od the stretcher. Monet in regarded as the father of Impressionism, and his series of paintings of waterlilies crowns that achievement. This painitng shows meticulous skill in creating the spectral effets which made Monet famous.
18 x 27.6 inches; 23.5x32.25 inches frame.

Good condition, The frame has some cosmetic flaws.
