Franz Marc was a German painter and printmaker, one of the key figures of the German Expressionist movement. He was a founding member of Der Blaue Reiter, a journal whose name later became synonymous with the circle of artists collaborating in it.

Condition
Overall good condition with some flaws; top layer of paint missing, revealing paint beneath in several places throughout the painting (please see photos). Paint loss around the edges from frame rub; board has a very slight concave warp.
