Hans Peter Wilhelm Arp, better known as Jean Arp in English, was a German-French sculptor, painter, and poet. He was known as a Dadaist and an abstract artist.
22.5 x 30.5 inches framed; 22 x 30 inches canvas.
Private collection, Madison, Wi, USA.
Good condition overall, light craquelure throughout; paint loss around edges of the canvas; an impression of the stretcher bars is visible from the front of the painting; light surface grime in small areas of the lower half of the painting; light surface scratches at the top of the painting; spotting verso.Condition
