Joseph Wrightson McIntyre (British, 1842-1888): On the Moors. Devonshire. Oil on canvas, signed and titled in ink verso, initialed lower right, framed, gallery stamp verso.
29 x 40 1/2 inches (frame); 18 3/4 x 29 3/4 inches (sight)
Private collection, Madison, WI, USA.
Very good condition; two small areas have been repaired and retouched one large repair/ retouch in the center of the composition; very small area of paint loss on the left edge, most likely from frame rub.
