Lee Krasner (American, 1908-1984) Manner of: Large Abstract Composition. Oil on canvas, signed lower right, framed. Lenore 'Lee' Krasner was an abstract expressionist painter in the second half of the 20th century. She is one of the few female artists to have had a retrospective show at the Museum of Modern Art. Her work was overshadowed by her famous husband, Jackson Pollock, but she remained true to the exploration of abstraction in her own style.
