  L.E. Smith black amethyst glass vase, commonly referred to as the "Dancing Nymphs" or "Snake Dance" loving cup vase, circa 1930s. Made of black amethyst glass that reveals a deep purple hue when exposed to light. Trophy-style design with two handles and raised relief figures of dancing nymphs. Measures approximately 7 to 7.25 inches tall. A notable example of Art Deco pressed glassware.
