CHARLES J NOKE FOR ROYAL DOULTON; exceptionally rare double figurine, HN89 'Spooks', dark turquoise with red caps, "Potted by Doulton & Co" handwritten in black script, 211 dated 3.21 Doulton backstamp (18-36), height 18cm.Old minor areas of good professional restoration to the front base area, otherwise very good condition, the faces exceptionally well painted.

This is the actual figure featured on page 93 of the Royal Doulton Figures book, Eyles (Desmond), Irvine (Louise), Baynton (Valerie). Please see office paperwork for provenance.

Bids to be received no later than 5:30pm on the Tuesday prior to the sale, or they will not be processed in time for the auction. Collections by appointment only, Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Items that are suitable for posting will be charged at our standard rate, or you can arrange your own courier, by appointment only. Details will be sent to you after the auction. Small items can be transferred between branches free of charge (excluding Devon and Preston), but we cannot guarantee a date of delivery.
