Late 19th century. Pair of French dore bronze mounted Chinese Famille Noir baluster form porcelain vases, decorated with a rockery base with white flowering plum trees against a black ground. Period French retailer's labels on bases. 20.25" H, 11.5" W across handles. Provenance: From a prominent Private Collection, Atlanta, Georgia.
Wear commensurate with age and use. Some minor scuffing to body. Attached bronze handles to body by way of drilled holes. Examined under blacklight, no apparent repairs. Crazing to green areas.
