"Man With Hounds", oil on wood panel, unsigned. 19th century painting depicting a figural scene within an open interior scene with a courtly man accompanied by two hound dogs, the man in red velvet frock and feathered hat leaning down to unleash one of the dogs, with a sword or staff lying on the ground to left atop a cape or pelt, the figures to a checkered floor beside stairs with banister topped by a large urn and figural sculpture. Framed approximately 13.875" x 17.125", unframed approximately 10" x 12.75".
