Pair of Japanese woodblock prints comprising of Tsuchiya Koitsu (Japanese, 1870-1949) "Geishas at the Teahouse" -20th century, color woodblock print on paper, calligraphic inscription lower left above red circular seal, calligraphic marks at right lower margin, figural work depicting geishas coming and going from a teahouse after dark; and Kawase Bunjiro Hasui (Japanese, 1883-1957) "The Arakawa in Early Summer Rain", color woodblock print on paper, calligraphic inscription lower right in ink above red seal, calligraphic marks at left and right lower margin, landscape depicting a rainstorm at Arakawa, with geisha at the shoreline, several small fishing botas tehtered to shore and a boat with sails passing by. "Geishas at the Teahouse" unframed approximately 16.25" x 10.4" . "The Arakawa in Early Summer Rain" unframed approximately 15.5" x 10.4".Prior to bidding, please consult the additional photos provided and ask all pertinent questions (i.e. condition, size, etc.).
