Waterford Crystal (Irish, 1783-), second half 20th century. A collection of sixty-nine (69) pieces of crystal stemware in the "Alana" pattern comprising ten (10) claret wines (5.87"); ten (10) white wines (5.5"); nine (9) sherry glasses (5.12"); ten (10) wine hocks (7.37"); eight (8) old fashions (3.37"); ten (10) brandy glasses (5.12"); nine (9) champagne/tall sherbets (4.12"); two (2) finger bowls and a 32 ounce jug or pitcher (6.62"). Each with acid mark for Waterford.
Overall set appears to have been barely used, with little scratches to bottom. Most pieces with small scattered bubbles/manufacturing flaws. One claret wine with one flea bite to rim; all other claret wines in good condition. One white wine with one flea bite on faceted stem; all other white wines in good condition. One sherry glass with one visible hairline to top rim; all other sherry glasses in good condition. All wine hocks, old fashions, brandy glasses, & finger bowls in good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Two tall sherbets with minor flea bites to bottom foot; all other sherbets in good condition. Pitcher with small nick to right side of handle, rough to touch. Some maker's marks are more prominent than others. All pieces would benefit from light cleaning.
