Chinese, first half 20th century. A porcelain garden stool of typical form with cobalt blue underglaze decoration on tondo to body depicting stylized floral and fruit vines in a wide band to center, flanked to top and bottom by wide bands with raised dots or prunts, floral decoration, and meandering key band, the top with further flower motif and pierced holes to center in ring form. Unmarked. Approximate height 18", diameter of top 12".
Overall good condition. Stool is structurally sound. There is crazing all over. Top of seat with very tight hairline stress fractures running across the top down side.
