English, circa 1900s. Edwardian three decanter oak locking tantalus on stand, the silvered brass mounted case having bail handles to each side and fitted with 3 crystal decanters probably for whiskey, rye and bourbon, each having faceted ball stopper and four sided body cut with star of David, all fitted against a mirror-backed. The hinged covers open to reveal 2 compartments, one side open the other fitted with three small footed glasses, with locking mechanism stamped 'London' over a spring released secret drawer raised on a fitted stand with box stretcher. Approximate height 34.5", width 15.8", width w/covers open 27.8", depth 12.5". Approximate height of decanters 8.6". Approximate height of glasses 4.12".
Overall very good condition. Structurally sound. Some oxidation to the silvered brass. Minor chipping of wood base on the stretcher. The mirror shows scattered minor silver loss. One decanter stopper is stuck. Does not appear to be glued; not responsive to black light. No chips, cracks or repairs to the glasses or decanters. Key is present and locking mechanism works.
