Late 18th Century, English, Sterling Silver Dish Stand with Burner. Hallmarked London, 1794, maker's mark for Robert (II) & Thomas Makepeace. Circular open ring top with 4 scrolling supports with acanthus leaf detail, a burner center, on a cast rectangular base with canted corners. Engraved crest of man with scythe on burner side and top. Signed on burner support ring and burner side (matching). 5.125" H, 12.125" x 8.5", 38.045 ozt total weight. Provenance: From the Private Collection of Mrs. Patricia Schuckmann, Roswell, Georgia.
