Chinese, 20th century. A fine purple Yixing Zisha clay teapot of bulbous hexagonal form with upturned hexagonal spout to one side opposed by a hexagonal loop form handle to other side, the hexagonal lid with similarly shaped finial. Marked to underside of lid with two impressed marks and to underside of pot with six calligraphic marks within a square cartouche. Approximately 3.5" tall, 7.25" spout to handle.
