Figural work depicting a Venetian canal scene with a skeletal gondoliere (a Venetian boatman who propels a gondola) transporting a a body to the Isola di San Michele for burial, with a self portrait of the artist and his grandson in the doorway of a canal adjacent home. Framed approximately 26.5" x 51". Unframed approximately 23.75" x 48". Note: Alternate artist spellings include "Jim Yarbrough."
